Boyfriend and I were in the Sham Shui Po area as I needed to buy something there. I was a bit hungry and we stopped at this place for a bite.Serving Beijing/Shanghai style dishes, they even decorated their restaurant with Beijing opera masks throughout the restaurant.We arrived during afternoon tea session and was offered the afternoon tea menu. Menu is in English and Chinese. A drink is included. I found it interesting that they offered so many different flavors of soybean milk.Sliced Beef With

Sliced Beef With Noodles ($23). If you think this is sad looking, you should see it in person. It doesn't get any better. The beef slices were tough. The noodles still had that starchy after taste.
Braised Beef With Noodles ($23). Again sad to look at. The beef was so hard, they remained in the bowl.
Black Soybean Milk. When I saw that you can choose soymilk as the set drink and noticed they not only had regular but black and purple rice, I was impressed. No one I know does that? Well, my questions were answered. The drink was prepackaged from a shop just around the corner. Is that why I waited 30 minutes for a prepackaged drink?
Horrible. Yes, prices are cheap. There is no 10% service charge so all this was $23 per person. But the food was not remotely good. Service was strange. The man who worked there was nice and helpful. But the women? Like they were waiting for their paycheck to go home for the day. Will not be back.
