The food was simple and decent. I was initially disappointed with the taste but I tried to appreciate its simplicity and enjoy the company I had. What hurt the experience of the bistro’s warm design is the attitude of the staff and that they don’t wear their masks properly at all.
Throughout my whole experience at the bistro, she was either barely wearing her mask or not wearing it at all. Whether she was taking orders, speaking to us or serving dishes.
And while I don’t think she realises she is rude or impolite, the attitude in her responses and assumptions was really the most negative part of the experience. It really could be improved. In all honesty, it would be the main reason I wouldn’t plan to go there again with my family and friends. It would’ve been a comfortable place to relax and catch up if not.
If the taste of the food and especially the quality of service, can be improved, that would be great. Just feels a bit of a shame with how comfortable and warm the bistro feels in its aesthetic and location.
