Good location and excellent decor. Was nosier than expected and had to talk a bit louder. Food was normal but nothing surprising, still, no unnecessary seasoning. Acceptable. However, Chinese waitress seemed strangely displeased serving us and often gave sour looks, even saying “what?” when she couldn’t catch our order. We were just normal white collared lunch crowd looking for a nearby restaurant to lunch and have a conversation. Will not return because of her.

好一個黑色星期五,早幾日約咗班好同事去試呢個任飲任食happyhour,抱住期待嘅心情,準時六點九到達餐廳。$298嘅All u can drink & eat,紅白酒汽泡酒烈酒都係任飲,前菜有三款分別有沙律,炸洋蔥圈,同埋Parma ham,我哋三樣都試哂,Parma ham品質唔錯,雖然唔係最貴嘅款式,但係入口咸香鹹香,沙律嘅菜好新鮮,洋蔥圈炸得分香口。主菜方面意粉同Pizza分別都有幾款選擇,意粉四款我哋全部都有試,味道唔錯,份量足,後尾每次添加佢都比足四個人嘅份量我哋,我哋費事太飽所以最後都唔敢再叫意粉。相對其他食物Pizza就有啲失色,我哋試咗兩款,好彩佢係細細個每個分開四件,勝在夠熱夠脆。店裏面環境好好,雖然有啲嘈,但係店員好快手好有禮貌,雖然係任食,每次落完單好快就有得食。呢個價錢喺中環星期五,仲要係由六點食到10點,真係冇得挑剔。

好一個黑色星期五,早幾日約咗班好同事去試呢個任飲任食happyhour,抱住期待嘅心情,準時六點九到達餐廳。

主菜方面意粉同Pizza分別都有幾款選擇,意粉四款我哋全部都有試,味道唔錯,份量足,後尾每次添加佢都比足四個人嘅份量我哋,我哋費事太飽所以最後都唔敢再叫意粉。

相對其他食物Pizza就有啲失色,我哋試咗兩款,好彩佢係細細個每個分開四件,勝在夠熱夠脆。

店裏面環境好好,雖然有啲嘈,但係店員好快手好有禮貌,雖然係任食,每次落完單好快就有得食。

呢個價錢喺中環星期五,仲要係由六點食到10點,真係冇得挑剔。

聖誕節好多西餐廳都非常之難訂位,可能是西方文化聖誕要食西餐嘅原因,應吓節日氣氛,估唔到喺中環呢一間餐廳不用訂位,氣氛一流,環境清靜舒服,食物方面用料不錯,味道和賣相都有驚喜,服務質素尚可,可能唔係太多人認識的原因,所以當晚食客不多,在價錢方面聖誕晚餐只是每位$488,價錢亦算做合理!已經包括有前菜,湯,主菜,甜品和咖啡茶!另外我也order了一支來自智利的Cabernet Sauvignon 2013的House wine,只是$310,配牛扒一流!大家當晚都食得非常開心滿足😋

as first time coming to this restaurant, we had quite unhappy experience, we were asked whether we want water or sparkling water, whitout knowing there might be a trick hidden,we choosed a sparkling water, we couldn't find any cost mentioning on the lunch menu, but when we ask for the bill,we were so suppriced to see the 65$ extra cost for the water!! both server look at us as we are super strange,when I asked to hv an explanation, we were told everybody in hk suppose to know this unstated rul

but it's a common knowledge that in a lot of European restaurants , water (include of sparkling)is free of charge!!!
the pizza as the main course was way over baked with a burned circle , the worst is of cause the service shows very cold attitude.
all the reason here wouldn't bring us for second visiting or introduce any other friends to go.

金鐘坐得舒適嘅午餐餐廳之選-係和記大廈附近有一間餐廳我覺得係呢個周圍坐得比較舒服環境比較Grand嘅餐廳有一啲人呢會喺嗰度happy hour. 而我就鍾意喺嗰度食lunch.我覺得佢個價錢唔係好貴但係幾好食。我叫咗佢地set lunch, (沙律+三文魚)。以我朋友就叫單點嘢食。沙律都幾新鮮。要講講佢地哩個三文魚做得幾有心思,煎三文魚上面放咗一啲炸洋蔥,同底下有清清地,好似湯咁,幾好飲。而我朋友點嘅芝士呢,我都覺得佢做得幾好食。之後就點左latte咖啡,都唔錯。

fresh berries & toasts

午膳時吃鴨肝,也未免太邪惡了,但鴨肝的確飽滿而質素好,加上並非常見的煎香,用薄切來避開太油膩的口感,再特意配上新鮮紅莓,取代常見的apple jelly,消減了部份油膩感,很有新鮮感。

最後,再呷一杯幽香的伯爵茶,佛手柑的甘香醇和,令厚重的感覺一掃而空,說說笑笑,朋友又夠鐘上班,下次再傾。

離開時,全店的客人差不多走光了,同一個小時前是兩碼子的事,真有趣。

USDA Prime rib roast (Weekend brunch): 據了解當天是沒有肉眼的,換來的是西冷牛扒伴薯角,稍嫌薯角有點不夠熱身和脆口,西冷的本質也不如肉眼般腍身,可是加了粗鹽粒後的牛扒已是好吃多的!

Contadina ($168): 蘑菇,芝士,蕃茄和豬肉腸的pizza, 大大的一個,烤得剛好,吃一塊已近乎半飽了。喜歡豬肉腸配pizza後的質感,是較salami優勝的。

Chocolate Foundue:大家有所不知,習慣也享受了選餐廳,點菜樂趣的我,在慶生的飯局中也會預先給自己準備生日的在甜品上寫字或蛋糕的 (羞)。可是這次碟上竟出現了預期外的字'we love you'...後來才得知是團團圓打電話來加的,其實是感動的。吃吃這樂吃的心太軟後,感覺這頓午餐圓滿落幕了。

4月是媽媽的生日月,媽媽提出要早點食生日飯,好吧,我預早係呢間Osteria Feilice訂位,同埋哥哥及家姐,仲有爸爸為媽媽早點慶祝生日食飯menu一坐低無耐,就有盤熱呼呼的包包送上來,圓形個款包包,超好食,軟軟的,另片裝的脆脆及條條,也是好食,沾著油醋來食,正由於家姐未到,咁我地食住d小食等佢吧,呢個唔記得乜名,但一口一件,底是脆脆的麵包,上面有沙甸魚同cream,食落沙甸魚唔鯹,好味欖:食得出有豬油係入面,送酒一流煮蜆:好香好fresh,蜆肉好肥美,一客份量好多,岩曬三五知己,share一齊食海鮮湯:份量又係好多,湯很濃,但不咸,海鮮料也好多意大利飯:呢個飯,真係唔好一個人食,因為會好飽的,多人分享,2-3匙就岩岩好喇,因為個飯超濃汁去煮,加上爽爽的蝦肉,正呀pizza:食得出餅底唔係現成貨,係廚師自己整的餅底來,好sofe,好好味家姐後加了呢個ham,多款唔同部位的ham,合拼埋一盤,超正最後我地一家5口肚仔大大大滿足地離開餐廳,最重要係媽媽食得開心

When you sipped in the Prosecco, there is a bitter taste and was not as smooth as high end alcohol. The alcohol is prepared with good temperature though after iced in refridgerator and even the glass is chilled in the fridge.

4 types of canape are served, Parma Ham, Shrimp with Bacon, Spinach Egg Custard (in 1 dollar coin size), Ham & Cheese Croquetas , Bread Stick for unlimited refill.

When you bit to Croquetas, you feel crispy style with herbs taste. It is a pleasure to learn how to appreciate European food. Sip the Prosecco and a bite of Shrimp (without a sauce or deepings). Each tapas are served with passion.

The service of bartendar is around 28 years old with high quality service

After the drinks we started on the dishes, there were so many of my favourites on the menu so we ended up ordering too much and we were quite full by dessert.

Started with roasted Heirloom cauliflower’s which were flown from Australia, they were pretty in white, green and rare purple garnished with capers.

The florets were crispy as described by the waiter with a nice salty flavour to it.

Then we had the classic Vitello Tonnato tuna mayo a well-known Italian cold dish of sliced veal covered with a creamy, mayonnaise-like sauce made with tuna.It was creamy and had a strong tuna taste with tender thin veal slices beneath it.

The crostini turned out to be a star because it had creamy burrata cheese and smoked sardines.

The sardines were different because it had a silky texture with a nice salty taste that paired wel;l with the cheese and crostini.

For pasta, there were two must eat items: Squid ink linguine Hokkaido sea urchin and parsley and Linguine with Sicilian red prawns cherry tomato.

I just love red prawns and the linguine was al dente while the squid ink linguine was infused with white wine and prosecco.

With no surprise, warm and fresh bread basket were given prior our meal with some good quality olive old. We only tried the papadom-like crispy bread sheet to save some room for more awesome dishes but we were sure they were all tasty since the Italian know how to work with flour.

The restaurant sources the best mozzarella and burrata from around Italy. We were told that this type of burrata was shipped to the kitchen 3 times a week to ensure its maximum freshness. The burrata was very creamy and buttery and it was so fresh that it was almost like melting ice cream.

The dish was traditionally garnished with shallots, ginger and chives. We liked how the milky taste from the burrata blends with the savoury caviar and the refreshing garnish. We literally cleaned the plate in no time!

Blue Fin Tuna Tartare ($165)

From this dish, we have learned that blue fin tuna isn't only from Japan but from Italy as well! The tuna tartare was seasoned with preserved lemon and pink peppercorns, making the taste of the fresh tuna popped out. Snapping the crispy bread and scraping the tuna chunks, it was just a perfect light antipasti to share among friends.

This is the real deal big bone marrow, best way to enjoy is to spread it on the grilled bread and topped with the fresh arugula leaves and sea salt flakes. The collagen-rich bone marrow melted on the warm toast instantly. We would like to consider this the luxury version of butter on toast, with a much more elegant touch to it. We particularly loved the generous amount of bone marrow for only $158!

Before we move onto the ham haven, we have decided to enjoy some Italian rossi to go down with the cold cuts. Osteria Felice has a long wine list pricing at the range of between below 100 to below 200 by glass. We have picked the two wine below which Rizzi, Barbera d'Alba DOC delivered a slightly stronger taste while Chianti was just as great as always.

Tuscan Cold Cuts "Cinta Senese" (Small $195)

The Cinta Senese is a breed of domestic pig from the province of Siena, in Tuscany, central Italy. It is an extremely rare breed even in Italy so we are so lucky to have the opportunity to try it in Hong Kong. We were recommended to savoured the hams in the order of culatello ,cappicola ,guanciale, salami bastardo, lard, based on its fat ratio. The taste intensified from each type of cut yet they all delivered very unique tastes. Come and find out which one is your favourite but remember to have some mustard fruit in between the cuts to clean your palette.

Linguine with Sicilian Red Prawns ($298)

We still remember our last red prawn was from Spain and we once again were surprised that red prawn could be from Italy as well! With no disappointments, linguine was cooked to the perfect al dente hardness and without too overly sauced. The taste of red prawns was a lot stronger than any other prawns we had ever tried. The cherry tomatoes complemented nicely with the rich seafood aroma. We had absolutely no complaints with this very on point pasta dish.

Despite the scrumptious pasta, you cannot go pass the head of the prawn, forget about the calorie and cholesterol, that's the best part from a shrimp don't you think so?

The short rib was sous-vide for 17 hours prior, then another 4 hours before it was served on our table, no actually it was served on a bed of soft polenta, which was freshly prepared in house from corn on the cob instead of the processed powder one.

You would know it is a grandma-friendly dish to order when it gave that 'pork tender' texture. Indeed, the short rib was super soft and moist in the centre after being braised in nicely seasoned secret sauce.

We called it the giant. There were layers of hazelnut ice cream with runny chocolate fondant and a crisp at the bottom covered in a hard dark chocolate shell with even more crushed hazelnuts and pop rock candy!

From our last Italy trip, it has been a long time since we had decent slice of tiramisu and we were so glad that Osteria Felice brought us back all the good memories. It was made with the traditional mascarpone, savoiardi and coffee. It just tasted exactly what an authentic tiramisu should be! Can I have some more please?

Mozzarella Gelato

What!? Is that a pizzelle? We haven't had one for years! What a great treat! The light and crispy pizzelle was the best way to enjoy with the the even creamier than ice cream mozzarella gelato. It was incredibly milky with subtle mozzarella flavour. You should at least try some if you still have room for it, otherwise, a cup of espresso using Italy imported coffee beans could also complete a beautiful dining experience in Osteria Felice.

At first we thought the restaurant was a bit far away but it fact it was just a short walk from either Central or Admiralty station. It was definitely worth a visit for some of its uncommon yet authentic Italian dishes in Hong Kong. Not to mention the very reasonable priced menu with comparatively quality food.

If you are looking for a place to chill out with your friends. Osteria Felice has also got you covered with their happy hour offering a selection of complimentary gourmet canapes throughout the whole happy hour from 5-8pm.

Having a long overdue dinner with my lovely girlies and Lady Charm suggested this newly opened Italian fare just around the corner from her office. Ms Little and I were 20 mins late and Lady Charm is already sipping her martini at the bar. Since Lady Charm is driving we are not drinking wine and I ask the bartender to make me something nice and I got this special fruity coctail with gin, raspberry, grapefruit juice and mint... very refreshing and good for the beginning of the meal.

We have a good a hard look on the menu and there's so much to choose from which we don't even know how to start. Luckliy the manager saw the confusion on our face and very help to recommend us to order a few appetitzer to share then follow by a pizza.

I'm never a big fan of munching mozzarella as it is but the manager said they have a special selection and from the menu they have a special section for this it stated they flown in few times a week from Italy to keep it fresh and juicy so let's see what's the fuss is about. I must say this is way better than what you usually get in HK for fresh mozzarella, this is very soft and juicy and go very well with the oily salami, but for me the best is the pickled mushroom... Can i pack them up in a jar and keep snacking it all day, please?

Then there's beef tartare, since I don't eat beef nor raw I have no idea what its like but both Ms Little and Lady Charm said is very decent and well above par.

We always like our soup burning hot and we did asked the manager to make sure both soup to come out smoking. But when they arrive the minestrone wasn't smoking as Miss Little would like it to be. Taste is excellent tho! The lobster soup is with leek (my favourite!) and crab and you can smell the flavour of the shellfish as soon as the soup is close to the table. I didn't try the minestrone but Miss Little said is very good though it will be even better if it's steaming...  

Along the way we much on 2 baskets of bread and thinking if we should get the 3rd but manager remind us that there's pizza on its way so maybe not, and he's damn right!

And so... the pizza. They claim they do the pizza in Neapolitan style so let's see if they can match Motorino, my to-go pizza joint... well up till this moment:

The pizza is just smashing!!! The sourdough is tasty, soft and chewy outside with a little burnt and well moist in the middle, and not too thin. The cheese is gooey, the sausage meat has a nice fennal taste and just the right amonut of tomato sauce. 

We were so busy chatting and having fun we forgot to take photos for the dessert and coffee... I just had a lovely affagoto and the other ladies shared a tiramisu. The waitress came over with a big glass container and scoop out the tiramisu on the plate... I must say the portion is very generous. Actually not just for this dish but for most items for the money you pay... or maybe I'm so use to the micro size service in HK in the last few years...

Overall was a very good night, food is great, service is ample, not over fussy and we were still well take care despite the fact that we didn't sit in the dining room. What more you need when you have a good catch up with the girlies over some geniune food and decent drinks  at a nice place? 

I am so coming back to try more on the pizza and pasta.

We shared all dishes and the clams were served first.  Hmmm..... very small clams, similar to those use to make Japanese miso soup, but rest of dishes were truly a pleasant surprise.....

Burrata with caviar was brilliantly done - together with the finely chopped herbs the dish was  amazingly good.  Grilled octopus was very tender and prime rib was also very nicely done with generous portion, cooked to slightly pink in medium rare. 

Overall, it was a good dining experience.  Although they have a bar area to start at entrance, and in the dining area feel actually quite cozy.
