Yum! Delicious Cantonese lunch in a nice Murray environment (fave gold accents) Tables were adequately spaced with natural light brightening the room up. Recommend the siu mai to those wary of the dish after profileration of fat-filled versions at most yum cha places. Handmade goodness! Was also impressed by how succulent the char siu were - lean yet juicy. Could have extras! The crab claw was flawless - fragrant Chinese wine without the alcohol and a succulent crab claw. 🍄 Mushroom bun was nicely presented - could do with more fillings though! Would return

Recommend the tuna belly, in both styles - fresh and seared. (See above and below) Uni うに looked good, tasted quite decent (creamy with a tinge of old fishy smell) for the price Both the seared eel and anago 穴子 was better than expected, definitely a mark of higher quality Japanese restaurants. Handroll’s fish portion was amazing succulent for a lunch set handroll. Seaweed still crispy when served! Plus, miso soup was the right balance of umami sweetness. 茶碗蒸し was full of goodness - definitely not your average steamed egg Accompanying dessert - green tea ice cream was a bit melted when it arrived, perhaps due to our big group serving. Taste was decently matcha-filled Will return soon

Good location and excellent decor. Was nosier than expected and had to talk a bit louder. Food was normal but nothing surprising, still, no unnecessary seasoning. Acceptable. However, Chinese waitress seemed strangely displeased serving us and often gave sour looks, even saying “what?” when she couldn’t catch our order. We were just normal white collared lunch crowd looking for a nearby restaurant to lunch and have a conversation. Will not return because of her.

Tried the Jordan branch twice and was impressed. So was excited to see a branch in CWB and booked for dinner. Soup was lackluster and had a tiny chicken, tasted bland... Some dishes will come in exceptionally small servings and leave you confused, especially if you’ve their their Jordan branch or 養心殿。 All in all, regretted not booking 養心殿 instead... which is 3 times better at the same price with the same deco... Am in no relation to them, just a big Taiwanese hot pot fan. Will not return.

Ordered two premium sets via Momotaro with high expectations given it's the priciest Japanese option on Ubereats. Pictures speak for themselves here. Will not order again and probably not visit the restaurant.

Came here for lunch and tried the sashimi bowl. Portion was that of a localized Sheung Wan Jap restaurant... appreciated the warm rice.

Miso soup was way too salty. Felt like they emptied a packet of ready made Miso into too small a bowl...

Left with a huge stench on my clothes - jacket, dress, hair... the whole place smells like Tempura though the chefs are just hanging in the open kitchen arms crossed.

Service was surprisingly good, waiter apologized for too salty Miso soup.

Will not return due to the stench... it's not like I elected to go to a Teppanyaki place

Ah, decent Japanese for lunch!

My first time here though I've been quite a fan of it's senior Sushi Rei whenever we eat at IFC. Came here for lunch and had the 12 piece deluxe sushi set.

The uni is fresh and sweet which I appreciate - bad uni with a tangy stench is just horrifying, no? - but just a small bite. Toro was melt-in-the-mouth good but again, portion was smaller than average for this price range. Even with its $500 odd price tag - had to grab a half sandwich around 4pm

Service is mediocre, though they did refill our teas, kind of expected the server to quickly introduce the types of sushi... again,

Ambiance is nice with dimly lit wooden interiors and a polite office crowd. Would return/recommend this place for a quick business lunch Because of its location

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night with a group of 5. Booked in the afternoon and got a table for 8pm, was seated 10 minutes later.

The place is genuinely local, with loud TV and noise.

Two dishes were really good. Suckling pig was roasted fresh in a small kitchen in front of our table, came served in big succulent pieces with crispy skin

Also, the salt roasted crab was delicious and full of rich insides. One of the freshest I've tasted this winter!

Will return to get takeaway sometime

Located in the stylish Nan Fung tower, this Yum Cha branch boasts a huge floor space and chic interiors.

Service is generally good and waiters well-trained, especially nice during dinner time. The pretty goldfish bowl plate is also changed regularly. Would suggest increasing waiting staff to provide better attentiveness. for the lunch time crowd though.

Came here for lunch and dinner, ordered the e-fu noodles with black truffles, steamed custard buns and bok choy on both occasions.

The oatmeal prawns are amazingly savory. Serving size is rather generous for most dishes (except vege). Always left with a satisfied palate too.

Glad they provide a wider array of teas than that of traditional dim sum places, including chrysanthemum. Would suggest them to use tea leaves instead as the infusion was too weak to be flavorful.

An elegant and très chic place I recommend. Will return again when friends come visiting Hong Kong

One hit & many misses

Time | Went on a Sunday night around 8pm. Ordered 5 dishes, 2 (including roasted goose) "sold out".

Let's start with the good stuff. Roasted chicken was a hit with its crispy and fragrant skin complimenting the tender meat.

Steamed fish was a tad on the small side but quite fresh anyway.

Lobster e-fu noodles was pretty good but I'm sure they added orange coloring to the dish! portion of noodles was also disappointingly little; shared amongst 3 adults I had 2 bites!

The 上湯西洋菜 vegetables were also extremely salty and honestly subpar, beware!

Do also note that service here is discriminatory; complimentary desserts & fruits were served automatically to the table beside before they finished, but denied to ours. Guess we are not their 'gai fong'.

Environment | Area is generally non-smoking BUT we were subjugated to bouts of intense smoke coming from a room.

What a frustrating hit-and-miss meal this was. This is my 2nd weekend dinner visit. Will not be back!
