Always can't go wrong with Japanese sushi rolls and surprisingly not a lot of place in HK do that well. Heard of this place recommended by a few friends so decided to give it a go, which is conveniently located in causeway bay.The place is average in size but very comfortable seating arrangement. The place is average in size but very comfortable seating arrangement. We got here early so there weren't a lot of people around but it didn't take long to have a full house. We ordered the Japanese Angus Beef sukiyaki pot and 2 rolls, one with the tuna （紅粉佳人）and one with mango, beef and cheese roll (忘不了妳）
The sukiyaki is quite big in portion with generous amount of beef and some veggies and tofu. You'll also have a raw egg to pour into it. The Angus beef was really succulent and fresh and the soup base was very delicious! It is enough for the two of us to share. The tuna sushi roll was very beautiful to look at, the presentation was really nice and tempting. The minced raw tuna was on top with some roes and matches well overall. Can't get enough of that! The beef roll with mango and cheese was a weird combination at first on paper, but surprisingly matches well with each other with the wasabi mayonnaise on top, giving it such a huge flavour coming just from a roll! Very impressive!
We didn't order any drinks as complimentary hot tea was served. This is definitely one of the best sushi roll place that I've been and I can't wait to go back again and try some more other sushi rolls they have to offer!
