If you have followed my openrice posts, you may have noticed that I seldom eat Korean because I am never a big fan of Korean cuisine. One day I was browsing openrice for new dining ideas and happened to see this. The chicken itself tasted good with very tasty sauce and tender chicken yet crispy skin. The sauce was slightly sweet and a little bit spicy but I couldn't find much curry flavour (although my lunch partner said he did). The boneless chicken was also very convenient to eat. The chicken itself could have earned a better-than-average rating but the "soft" cheese dragged down the overall rating.
I took a look at another cheese dish our neighbours ordered and the cheese was not melting at all. So it was not just us.

The fruity soy garlic chicken, said to be coated with apple lemon juice, soy sauce and garlic, was a bit too sweet. The black pepper chicken, said to be seasoned by soy sauce and black pepper, was totally free of black pepper and was a bit sweet! The chicken was not tender at all. Some weird parts of chicken like neck and 雞殼 were served. It was really quite bad indeed given the price.
The good thing was that the oven roasted chicken did seem healthier than deep fried chicken and didn't make us feel overfed by oil after finishing them all.

Honestly, I had expected more given the price of the food so I was indeed a bit disappointed overall. Anyway, I think I should still give it an "ok" smiley, just that I don't think I need to come back again to try other oven roasted chicken.
