We paired with our meal a couple of fine beverages. Suntory premium malts, brewed only in Nippon, freshly poured from their uniquly sized 10 litre kegs deliver the signature crisp and refreshing punch. For the ladies, the heteronormative kyoho graps soda is a great choice. Both are highly recommeded hydration vehicles to enjoy throughout the feast.

Next we move onto the protagonist of our feast. The glorious sliced wagyu is presented in a handmade bamboo platter to showcase its elegant appearance. Our platter includes prime rib eye, sliced karubi, premium marinated pork rib, and a selection of seasonal vegetables. Each piece of meat is exceedingly tender and flavorful. The cross-charred grill marks add another dimesion of maillard complexity. With a finishing touch of softly squeezed lemon wedge and saltbae sprinkle of seasoning, each bite delivers and orgasmic beefy explosion in the mouth.

A special commendation goes to the japonica rice. Each mochigome pearl is precisely steamed to perfection. The soft and chewy texture is unique to the koshihikari breed and an essential pairing to the fatty wagyu as a fat absorber and  palete cleanser between bites. This often underappreciated, simple bowl of white rice is an essential part of this meal and cannot be ignored.

Some would consider $1475 for a dinner expensive, but considering the quality of ingredients, restaurant environment and location, and the excellent customer service, I can HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and its worth every dollar.
