It was supposed to be a romantic dinner date and we chose to make it at Chapter 3 Steak Bar & Restaurant in Prince Edward. To my surprise, the interior decoration was quite modern. We got to occupy two seats at the corner with high chair and sofa overlooking their open kitchen and a mirror next to us so that we could have mirror images in the photos we took! 墨西哥脆片配香草sour cream dip at $40 + 10%
Once seated, a bowl of nachos with sour cream dip was served to us. Such a bowl was served for two people at a cost of $40. We were so hungry that we kept eating. The nachos were fresh and crispy yet not overly greasy. They were already seasoned. They went great with the sour cream dip, which was so yummy itself that I even ate with French fries served with the burger dish. When we were about to finish our first bowl, a server immediately served us a new bowl with a new dip. Prompt service!
There were quite a lot of different varieties of food, including different meat dishes, choose-the-combo-yourself pasta, pizzas, risottos, burgers, salads, different snacks etc. We were so hungry that we ordered two meat dishes, one burger and one pizza to share without looking at the sizes specified on the menu. We had really forgotten that it was an American pub where portions were ENORMOUS.

They were so efficient that our orders were served to us as soon as we finished our two bowls of nachos. The burger was giant! I couldn't possibly eat all layers of the burger in one sip. The cheddar cheese was so thick and melting and it was huge! The pineapple was such a good flavour enhancer to the burger as it was so juicy, quite a good balance to the crispy cutlet pork! There was a thick slice of tomato and a lot of lettuces in the burger. The buns seemed to have been toasted with some sesame on the upper bun. Accompanying the burger were some salads and thick freshly deep fried fries together with a big bowl of ketchup. The salads were quite fresh.

We need to cut the burgers into smaller parts to eat more conveniently.

The ribeye steak was again alarmingly giant. We asked for medium rare. It was reasonably tender which was juicy inside with grilled marks. It went great with the accompanying garlic sauce! We could choose bbq, garlic or black pepper sauce to come with the steak. We saw that many other eaters ordered this dish as well. I felt that we had been eating and eating but still there was a lot of meat left. Very good value for money indeed. Some salads also came with the steak.

Portion was again GIANT! One thing which I really appreciated was that there was no bone so it was so easy to eat without making our hands dirty. All ribs were well seasoned with sufficient sauce so that I didn't need to eat with the accompanying bbq sauce. Again we could choose garlic, bbq or black pepper sauce with this dish. The pork ribs were reasonably tender. Again some salads came with the meat dish.

It was the cheapest pizza amongst all maybe because there was no meat or veggies. But usually pizzas full of cheese could get really expensive out there. The pizza was really freshly baked as we saw them take it out from the oven. The crust and base were not those thin type and were actually a bit thick. The crust was crunchy. The toppings were so rich that it was so cheasy when we grabbed our slice. The 4 types of cheese were Parmasen, mozzarella, cheddar and cream cheese. They were really so rich that there was a thick layer of cheese on top on the base. They were flowing out when we ate it. Such a big pizza with loads of cheese. Those who fancies thin and crunchy crust might be disappointed but cheese lovers would love this! It was very filling as portion was giant! Great value for money!
We were so full by the time we finished our dinner. Very rarely we couldn't finish all the food. Given the costs, the food was really great value for money especially given the portion! Environment was nice and relaxing while service was attentive too. I look forward to trying other dishes during our next visit!
