In view of the sudden surge in number of confirmed cases, we decided to buy takeaway and stay home for meal this time. Passed by this Cocopig and bought two different types of Hainanese chicken rice with some sides, soup and drink. There were some seats inside for dine in too. 特色梛香海南雞飯 $43We encored their 特色梛香海南雞飯. We encored their 特色梛香海南雞飯. The Hainanese chicken on top contained thigh, breast and wing which went quite well with the accompanying sauce. The chicken meat was cut into 8 pieces. The chicken was quite rich in chicken flavour and the skin was quite elastic! The coconut-milk-flavoured rice was pretty good as it was appropriately moist, and smelt and tasted very rich of coconut milk. The rice seemed to be pearl rice too so offered better texture. The side dish which was green papaya salad contained crispy and well pickled green papaya and carrot shreds with 1 cherry tomato bottomed by a slice of fresh lettuce. I didn't find it spicy at all.

It was basically same as 特色梛香海南雞飯 with some spicy paste added. The spicy paste was a bit 麻 but more about 辣. Quite an appetising alternative if you fancy something spicy.

Original price was $28 and add on price was just $18 with rice set. So of course we decided to try it out. Portion was big with a lot of 雞腎 slices and they were well seasoned and of a good chewy texture. They were bottomed by a slice of fresh lettuce. Great value for money.

Original price was $22 and top up price was just $15 along with the rice. The okra aka was very fresh and was cut into mouthful pieces making it easy to eat. There should be around 4-5 pieces of okra aka altogether. Some soy sauce was added to add some flavour. Fresh and healthy dish.

The soup of the day was 香芋南瓜眉豆海底梛湯. Original price was $28. We could top up to get it at just $18 along with the rice. It was in a pleasant yellow colour. It was clear and free of oil. Flavour-wise it tasted rich in 眉豆. Definitely free of MSG. If there were ingredients, it would have been even better.

Original price was $18 and add on price was just $13 with rice set. It was made of 金羅漢果, 菊花, 陳皮. It was packed in a nice bottle and was served cold. I liked this tea a lot because it was so naturally sweet and yet not overly. There were lots of 菊花 petals and smelt super nice of 菊花. The 金羅漢果 flavour was just about right. There were a few red seeds in the bottle. Highly recommended!
Everything was nicely packed in paper boxes or plastic containers, making it hygienic and clean to bring home. Everything was still warm when eaten about 20 min after delivery, except for the cold drink. Eating utensils were also provided. Per head cost was just $75 having ordered so much food. Quite a good value for money meal.
