在六七年前吃到老媽拌麵在台灣的分店, 覺得驚奇的事, 即食麵可以成為餐廳唯一的主打, 再加上稍為高檔的食材, 就可以上到飯枱. 想不到品牌在香港開始的分店相當多, 也是台灣餐飲品牌在香港開設得店的其中一家. 基本上主食就是品牌的拌麵和醬汁, 例如我吃的是椒麻囗味, 加上肥牛和滷蛋, 基本上醬汁的濃烈味道, 蓋過了牛肉的肉味, 至於厚實的麵條, 不容易煮得太腍, 所以吃起來口感還是可以的. 70多元一碗麵, 成本控制相對簡單, 邊際利潤比一般的更多.小食的炸雞配上豆乳醬, 反而見得出心思, 豆乳醬吃起來似少鹹的腐乳, 配上香脆的炸雞味道突出, 只是炸雞的炸粉有點好, 吃起來醬汁的味道不能深入雞肉之中, 有點可惜.I tried this at a Taiwan branch and was amazed that instant noodles were the main dish at a restaurant.
