🍽️ As someone who appreciates the finer things in life, I opted for their seasonal crab menu, as this is the perfect time to indulge in the delights of crab. My anticipation was at an all-time high, but unfortunately, the Pan-fried Rice Noodle Roll with Hairy Crab Roe & Crawfish fell short of my expectations. The crab roe seemed to be mixed with other sauces, resulting in a lack of the rich crab flavor that I was eagerly anticipating. Perhaps my expectations were sky-high, which is why I was left feeling disappointed. However, I must say that the other dishes I ordered, such as the Shanghai Wok Fried Rice Cake with Vegetables and Shredded Pork ($82), Chinese Cabbage with Ham and Cream Sauce ($76), Drunken Pork Knuckles in Hua Diao Wine (regular) ($74), and Shredded Chicken with Mung Bean Noodles in Sesame Dressing (additional $1 for orders above $300), were consistently outstanding, just as I had experienced on previous visits.🍵 To note, there is a tea charge of $12 per person, and my total bill came to $415.4 for 2 persons, inclusive of the 10% service fee. While the seasonal menu may have left me wanting, I've learned that sticking to the regular menu is the way to go for a consistently delightful dining experience at Shanghai Lao Lao.

下午五時三十分,趕達下午茶套餐的尾巴。款式配搭多變,主食、小食,以及飲品有不同選項。 (1) 姥姥厚切排骨手切拉麵接近一點五厘米的酥脆排骨,粉漿厚薄適中。 (2) 雪菜鱻魚湯拉麵魚肉細嫩雪白,沒有因去腥而留有薑辛。粉漿輕得似薄紗,僅僅包裹魚肉在湯上遊。 (3) 香煎素鴨豆油皮層層疊上,色澤金黃,鹹中帶豆香。 (4) 鮮蝦炸雲吞蝦肉少許,沒有酒樓點心般的比例。(那是當然,它只是個小食啊~)然而,雲吞皮炸得香脆,不會像氣炸鍋或預製出來。

今晚收工又去德福,老婆想食上海菜,就去呢間。首先講下點解環境俾咁低分: 一入到去哥哥帶我地去搭枱,衰多口問咗句有冇得唔搭,就帶咗我地入最入的2人枱。懷疑張枱係俾員工休息,成張櫈都係懷疑面包碎,枱旁的牆d醬汁彈到成牆都係都無人清潔,最慘係坐咗一陣個身開始身痕........講返野食,今次叫咗: 四川擔擔麵 + 排骨 - $63 + $36 👌🏻麵幾好食! 真係似係拉出嚟,麵係有粗有幼果隻,不過無之前食標榜即拉果d 咁煙靱炸排骨好厚,厚得嚟唔會太硬,炸粉唔會話好厚,但個人寧願分2 塊薄的... 雲吞雞湯 - $52 👌🏻中規中矩,$52 會覺得少少貴小籠包 - $43 👍🏻小籠包好食! 好多肉汁爆出嚟炸雲吞 - $45 👌🏻其實唔錯,不過可惜的係上碟時個底好多油,如果加返塊吸油紙會好d桂花酒釀丸子 - $40 👌🏻桂花味好香,丸子份量唔太多

九龍灣返工嘅朋友,最鍾意去德福商場搵食😛我都好鍾意食上海嘢,所以搵左個lunch time就試咗依間上海姥姥。平時多數多人至等唔至位,試左幾次先可以係lunchtime 搵到位😅😅😅午餐set lunch 包前菜,主菜同飲品。主菜可以有幾款揀。前菜我揀左雞絲粉皮,好食🤤。主菜就上海排骨麵,排骨好夠味,飲品要左豆漿。成個set lunch 我俾80分,扣分位係太多人,等位難,食得有點趕。上海姥姥嘅食物質素一向好好,推介👍🏻

有人像我這樣遲嗎?素食餐牌推出了很久才第一次試食😂店員說素食餐牌好像至8月底。要食趁早。🥗乾煸素肉四季豆$80-原食譜辣的,今次走辣。下次再試原味辣👍🏻炒得夠乾身夠鑊氣又入味。推薦!🥗姥姥素肉小龍包 (4件)$43- 爆汁小籠包,真的!爆到放枱的電話上去😂餡料很多,不過皮較厚,摺頂部份都咬不下😅醋也比較淡。一個人的午餐點了兩個菜。餐牌上還有兩個素菜式- 擔擔面和麻婆豆腐。都是辣的留待下次吧。
