The pork belly is surprisingly delicious when it pairs with the watermelon - a fresh summer twist. It looks like a perfectly juicy roast on the outside. In the inside, the sweetness of watermelon and the passion fruit sauce play well against the savoury pork belly. I do recommend this refreshing Spanish sandwich as a starter.
Another highlights are the desserts that we've picked (Now we are curious about the remaining desserts that they have because they are too good!).
Both tiramisu and banana pancakes are beyond delicious – (but do not give high expectation on anything before coming, otherwise from my own experience, one will not be able to taste the best out of the food).
Tiramisu is served cold in a "plant pot" with espresso come on the side. Unlike the ordinary/traditional tiramisu, it's less sweet and the cake isn't very spongy/soaked, which I prefer
The Dutch baby pancake is served in a cast iron skillet with caramelised banana and vanilla ice cream on the top and hot chocolate ganache on the side. If you love banana especially when it's caramelised, you'll fall for this sweet version of Dutch classic.
I have highlighted the starter and the desserts for recommendation, but their main dishes are equally nice. Both steaks were grilled until medium rare and together with the sides, the main dish was well-served.
Not to mention, their free-flow wine selection is better than expected too. We've enjoyed our dinner overall
If I have to criticise on one thing, that will be the table setting. Seems like there are two dining areas, one with bright and oasis theme, the other is rather dark and classy. We were assigned to sit by the window at the darker area. The tables were closely arranged and we could hear the conversations from the other two tables next to us despite we were seated at the corner.
