The story began with a random decision of getting some heart-sweetening dessert after a tiring day...

Dessert Gallery actually caught my attention months ago, but it's only till now that I finally paid it a visit. The dessert there are not only appealing, but also creative in their combination of different ingredients. Speaking of their ingredients, it can't be more attractive by serving Movenpick icecream and using Meiji 3.6 milk

Given it's Halloween time, we got the festive Bloody Eye ($75)  (We originally wanted to get the famous Gentle-Wild but it wasn't available during the time). Similar to Gentle-Wild, we had to use the mini-hammer provided to crack open the chocolate ball. From its name and picture you can definitely notice its close resemblance of an eye (pretty scary huh?)Broken open there was some bloody orange foam, on soft milk chocolate and sponge cake. It was a nice match, balancing sweetness and fruitiness. Yet the sponge cake could be more fluffy and airy.
Served aside was a scoop of vanila Movenpick icecream, and mixed berries. The movenpick icecream was super creamy and heavily vanila-scented (credits not going to Dessert Gallery lol). Berries too sour overall, emphasizing the uncompromising tastes between them and the white and milk chocolate.

Overall the experience was pleasant, and I would definitely re-visit it to try the many funny looking treats left on the menu! Service was satisfactory as well, staff being helpful and friendly. 
A stand-out among its counterparts in the district. Merits compliments and appreciation for its creativity and dedication. All the best!

It's been quite some time since I wrote food reviews...
The experience was pleasant enough this time (plus my bias towards spanish food as a spanish learner ), so I guess maybe the cafe deserves some proper compliment here Espuma's signature paella marked the nice beginning of our dinner. Sprinkled with fresh lemon juice, the Spanish rice was cooked in an appropriate stickiness and appetizing umami of seafood. Not a big fan of mussels so didn't try them out. But the prawns didn't taste as fresh as I has expected. Got few slices of Spanish ham (Jamón) inside.
Score: 8/10Named "Fish n' Bites", basically you can tell its the English fish n chips. Thought I have already tried the best fish n chips in town (in Stanley, which cost me ard $148), and it turned out the best only came till now! The fillets suggested a tempting hint of beer, and the fries were crispily fried. Yes! It's THE FISH N CHIPS I HAVE BEEN LONGING FOR! and it definiately is a great deal (just $68) so impressed lol
Score: 9/10Would give it a "fair". Traditional Spanish omelette with spinach and potatos. (Tried it out with some ketchup, just to spice it up!)
Score:7/10Waffles here seem to be highly rated from previous food reviews. Bit disappointed as I would prefer it being more glutinous inside than being mere crispy (and rather dry). It sounds weired when we all agreed the sorbet tasted the best among everything on that plate lol Just so-so. Would love to try the Japón one instead next time!
Score: 7/10Another dessert we got. Tasted like a sweetened version of the Chinese deep-fried twisted dough (油炸鬼), ermmm way too sweet I would say. Shouldn't have chosen condensed milk as the sauce I guess? (other options are chocolate, and coffee) And I didn't like it when I could taste the unpleasant frying oil, which ought to be cloaked under the extravagant amount of sugar. So-so again.

We also ordered the signature fruit tea (hot) and fresh peach tea as drinks. Didn't take any pictures though.

Overall it's a pleasant dining experience. The food was well-worth its price, given its location and quality. Would recommend it and look forward to my next visit!

一直想來這裏很久。
一是因為本人一向「重口味」，頗好泰國菜；
二是因為見greyhound先於中環開店，短短日子就能開分店，對它食物的質素有相當的期望。

一試後，原來期望越大不一定失望越大。

一如既往，每當光顧一間初次到訪的餐廳前，
我都必定會「做足research」，心裏有著一張「必食清單」。
今次也不例外，絕大部分都點了餐廳的招牌菜。（差點忘了點這個）非常細心地把冰也製成了「檸茶冰」，
配合青檸及香料，即使冰融了也絲毫沒有影響其濃濃的茶味及泰式風味。
唯一建議份量可多一些，由於泰國菜難免味道偏濃，故多靠飲品過濾味蕾。
很好喝，但很快便喝完。很驚喜！酸酸辣辣的泰式辣汁配著三文魚，是很開胃的前菜！大蝦的蝦膏很香，略嫌蝦肉不夠彈牙。
湯實在很好喝，有番茄的酸、大蝦的鮮，加上香料進一步把味道昇華。
想不到與意大利雲吞相當配合，想必是因為雲吞的餡包的也是蝦。同樣是西泰合一，很滿意。本身不太喜歡鋪面的芽菜是生的，但由於味道少許偏鹹，因此反而輕微中和一下過份的鹹味。螺絲粉偏硬。唯一非「招牌菜」之列，但我十分推介！主要原因是它的青咖喱實在出色，五成熟的牛柳（可自行決定生熟程度），足料的椰奶香滑及應有的青咖喱香，一試難忘。 crumbs十分香脆！因煉奶跟crumble是分開上的，
所以沒有因為煉奶而弄到crumbs變得又軟又爛。
而我一直都很愛玉桂跟蘋果的配搭，蘋果暖暖的沒有煮得過爛。
吃完實在令人有感動的感覺！！！*心心眼*相比出色的apple crumble，這個crepe cake未免失色了。
可能招牌的還是椰子千層，芒果是夠甜了，但味道欠驚喜，只是老實的cream+芒果+pancake皮，
有少許的膩呢。

總結：目前為止吃過最好吃的泰菜，十分滿意的一餐，很想encore，唯價錢偏貴。
雖說一分錢一分貨，可惜不能經常去吃呢！

韓國菜需不是我的最愛，但最喜歡四周找尋美食的我，看見這一新派西韓Fushion餐廳近日人氣急升，亦似乎得到一定開飯食家的一致好評，於是決定與好友一試。當日我倆約7時多到達，餐廳表示8時才會重新派籌，心想既然一場來到，還是等吧。一等，就是差不多兩小時。9點入座，待應提示我們10時15分便要「交枱」。
由於我也是OPENRICE的頭號忠實粉絲，加上第一次光顧，故已做好十足準備工夫，參考一眾食家的建議，全點了「招牌菜」。先來的是這渣熱情果香芒ALFIE。雖然Menu上寫著是3－4人份量，但其實兩個人喝才剛剛足夠（每人大約可喝兩杯多）。味道雖是老老實實的熱情果及芒果的「穩陣」配搭，本是沒甚驚喜。但我欣賞餐廳把SMOOTHIE跟SODA WATER配合一起，冰冰涼涼，加上其酸酸甜甜的味道，確是配著微辣菜式的極佳配搭。從其他食評可得知，這絕對是餐廳的頭號招牌菜之一。以卡邦尼醬汁來烹煮韓式年糕及粉絲，顯然是具創意西韓FUSHION配搭。說真的，味道並沒有驚喜。卡邦尼醬煮得夠creamy及milky，但比較本人作為carbonara fans在其他餐廳嘗過的，著實談不上出眾，只是輕鬆過關。略嫌年糕煮得太久，少了應有的煙韌口感。反倒韓式粉絲吸收了醬汁後，味道比年糕吸引。另外令我有點失望的，是沒想過份量之少。（可能是因為用了一個很大的碟，更突顯份量實在少得可憐）（註：不知是否因為要貫徹西韓合壁，故吃下去是辣辣的，個人認為可免則免。）另一頭號招牌菜，也是沒有驚喜。感覺它那麼受歡迎應是因為加了墨魚汁，看來「烏卒卒」的。味道方面，只是「飯、紫菜、墨魚、韓式醃蘿蔔」包在一起而已，吃下去當然不難吃，只是看不出作為招牌菜的理由。唯一冰涼的招牌菜。以韓式辣醬及粉絲，配合碎冰，製成冷麵。想不到冰融了卻沒有弄淡麵或醬汁的味道。吃下去是既酸辣又冰涼，粉絲同樣是煙韌的。惟與年糕一樣，份量可多一些。這是後來與友人決定一試的，原因是我倆都對烏卒卒飯卷有點失望，見這餐廳主力推介的還是飯卷，結帳前決定來一客「紳士卷」：即是煎蛋包著午餐肉及芝士。味道也是不過不失，看到一些半透明的疑似芝士醬，卻沒有說好的芝士味；蛋與午餐肉的飯卷很難不好吃，因此也是沒甚驚喜。
總結整頓飯，考慮到等了兩小時、沒甚特別的服務態度、食物質素普通，卻每人盛惠約200大元（連加一）。坦白說，我是覺得不值的。食物是可以的，但並不需要這價錢及排隊的時間，看來如無意外都不會再光顧了。
